All outstanding fee's are payable in cash on the day, prior to the start of the function (unless previously arranged).
In the event of payment of the final balance not being received once setting up is completed, DJ Moonie is not obliged to provide sound and lighting for the function. DJ Moonie then reserves the right to recover any outstanding costs at a later date.
Any delays in the start of an event that are not under the control of DJ Moonie, will not incur penalties or a reduced fee.
In the unlikely event that DJ Moonie has to cancel due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances, and that a suitable replacement cannot be found, any fees paid by the client shall be refunded in full. (This will be the full extent of the liability).
In the event that a replacement DJ or entertainment company is used to fullfil an existing obligation, the client should inform DJ Moonie within 7 days of them being notified that a replacement is to be used, if this is not acceptable to them. Furthermore, the terms of the existing contract remain in force, but are transferred to the replacement DJ or company. The replacement DJ or company may also amend the terms of the original contract, with agreement from the client. DJ Moonie accepts no further liability whatsoever.
Should additional entertainment time be required, overtime is charged at the standard rate.
DJ Moonie requires access to the function room, 2 hours prior to the start time to set up and co ordinate sound and lighting and 1 hour minimum to pack up and vacate the venue.
In the unlikely event that the equipment should totally fail (excluding circumstances beyond DJ Moonie's control i.e. a power cut) a pro rata refund will be given for the time remaining.
DJ Moonie reserve's the right to cancel services should it be discovered that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is equipped with at least 2 working standard sockets.
If at any time, before or during the event, there is deemed a threat to DJ Moonie or his property, DJ Moonie reserves the right to terminate services without further notice. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.
Photographic or recording equipment may be used at your event, for promotional purposes. If this is not acceptable, you should advise DJ Moonie on the night, or in writing beforehand.
Occasionally, smoke and/or strobe lighting maybe used. If you believe any of your guests may be affected by these effects, please advise accordingly.
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations advised 14 days (or more) prior to the event date will incur no fee.
Cancellations made between 7-13 days of the event will incur a booking fee charge of £100.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date, will incur the full fee.
Notice of cancellation should ideally be made in person using the contact telephone numbers available on the website. Failing that, you may email or post your notice. Please be advised that unless a cancellation is CONFIRMED, it is not yet considered final. You should therefore ensure that you can provide evidence of the date you first attempted to cancel, in case of a dispute.
